Well if you didn't see the men's NCAA national championship game, you missed one of the greatest final games in history in my opinion. It had been a good tournament for both Memphis and Kansas and they both pretty much handled the final four opponents. It couldn't had been a better set up for either teams. It was a back and forth game but it had seemed like Memphis was going to pull away with it especially when Derrick Rose hit a miracle shot while the the shot clock expired.

Even though Memphis was pulling ahead, Kansas did not give up. They fought until the last second and with about two and a half seconds left, Kansas was down by three and Mario Chalmers pulls up and hits a three to tie the game up and sent the game into overtime. Kansas actually took control in overtime and pulled away to win the National Chamionship.

Every college student around this time gets the spring break fever and can only be cured by a nice week long break from school. It is definitely one of my favorite times of the year. It is actually probably third place behind winter break and then of course you really can't beat summer. The most popular place to go is of course the beach. I feel like everyone goes to the beach so they can just get a little preview for summer. I mean honestly who does not like sitting out on the beah just hanging out with friends.
If you are into the party crowd there are many places to go and have a good time such as Panama City. Then there are the relaxing places like somewhere up in the mountains there is a place for everyone. Hope everyone takes advantage of their week of break.

Well it is now officially March one of the best months out of the year for a few reasons. One of course is spring break, who honestly can't enjoy a week off of school? Then of course you have the NCAA tournament which is always one of the most exciting and entertaining sporting events there is to watch. With everyone filling out their brackets, and seeing college basketball on TV almost all day, you can't help but get into the hype.
Something that makes it even more exciting is that this year Tennessee has the chance for being a number one seed and possibly even making it to the Final Four or even further. There are many good teams out there this year though such as North Carolina, UCLA, Kansas, and Memphis. I can not wait for tournament time to come with all the upsets and close games it is bound to be another great March.

So if anyone did not get to catch the super bowl last Sunday I am sorry because, I am just going to throw it out there, it was one of the greatest football games I have ever seen. I am not sure it was because I hate the Patriots with a deep passion or if it was because I love to see the underdog win but it was awesome. Coming into the Super Bowl the Patriots were favored to win by double digits and if they won they would have completed the perfect season. The general conscientious was that Tom Brady was the best quarter back in the league and I just thought everyone spoke of them to highly. I mean yeah you have got to be good to go undefeated and yes they were a good team but obviously they weren't perfect. The whole season Eli Manning had been struggling and the Giants got off to a rough start but it outrageous how they came into the post season and beat every team that comes at them and on the road which makes it even more impressive. I was just happy to see a huge underdog come out on top.

I don't know if anyone saw the Winter X Games on this weekend but I watch them every year. This year it was full of some really cool events and there were many close competitions. The events that I always watch are ski and snowboard superpipe and ski and snowboard slopestyle. In ski superpipe, there was the same situation that happened last year where it was between Tanner Hall, the reining gold medalist, and Simon Dumont, the reining silver medalist. In his first run, Tanner Hall took the lead with a very impressive run and set the bar for the rest of the skiers. Then Simon Dumont came out in his final run and put down an incredible run and in my opinion, Dumont's run was better than Hall's. Although Hall ened up coming out on top it was a really exciting event. In snowboard superpipe, it was not as close as the ski superpipe. Shaun White  was by far and away the top performer of the riders. On his final run, White did a 1260 which is just outrageous. The closest rider to him was Ryoh Aono and his score was about eight points behind White and for everyone who does not know about snowboard competitions eight points is a good amount. All in all, the Winter X Games this year was very exciting with so many close competitions and if you have not seen the Winter X Games I would recommend that you check it out next year and the Summer X Games comes on in August.

On the matter of blog software interface, I feel that live journal does a fairly decent job on meeting Rebecca Blood's criteria. It my not fully meet all of the needs of the best weblog management page but it is better than any other one that I know of. It is very simple to figure out how to post an entry. The way to post is very well labeled and there are not really any detours you could catch that would be confusing. Then once you write your entry all it takes to post it is one click. You can change the way your site looks by changing your profile picture and a few other ways. Although you can not change everything, there are still somethings you can change. I feel that live journal offers clear instructions on how to post entries, change your profile picture, or look at other entries. If you do get lost there is a help icon that could help you with your problems. It is possible to use live journal with out reading the directions but I would go ahead and read the directions just so it would be easier to understand what is going on.
